Activision heeft de E3 2004 trailer uitgebracht voor Tony Hawk's Underground 2, met daarin meer dan twee minuten van ingame beelden. "The latest evolution in the #1 action sports franchise, THUGTM 2 delivers a hilarious story mode, an unprecedented level of customization, and more moves than the Skate Gods could dream of. Grab your board, an arsenal of spray paint and prepare to wreak havoc around the world". De PS2 en Xbox versies zijn onwtikkeld door Neversoft, de GBA versie door Vicarious Visions en de PC versie door Beenox Studios. De game word deze autumn gepubliceerd.
